Instructions for Placement Drive

1. Guidelines for ON Campus/OFF Campus/ Online Drives

• Students should be present 15 mins before the scheduled time for Preplacement Talk/Aptitude Test/GD/ PI for the selection process.

• Students are requested to carry a lunch box, water bottles, etc on the day of the Campus drive. Students may need to carry their laptops for any specific campus drive requirements. College is not responsible for students’ belongings like laptops, gadgets, folders, certificates, etc.

• Although we avoid late-night drives, students must be patient until the process gets over. Students may have to manage with their transport arrangements to return home and should inform their parents well in advance if the proceedings on the interview date continue till the late evening.

• Students should maintain discipline and show ethical behaviour in every action they take during placement. Any student found violating the discipline rules set by the Institute / the company or defaming the institute’s name will be disallowed from the placements for the rest of the academic year.
Students found cheating or misbehaving in the selection process (Test / GD / Interview) will be disallowed from the placements for the rest of the academic year.

• Carrying folder of documents.

a. Students should carry a proper document folder. The cover of the folder must contain the name of the holder, contact details and mail id.

b. All the documents and Certificates must be arranged in reverse chronological and segregated by academics, co-curricular and extra-curricular certificates.

c. Folder must contain 3-4 copies of updated resume and 10-15 passport-size photographs. We highly recommend you to carry a few A4 size papers, pens, and pencils.

d. Students must have soft copies/ hard copies of all the necessary documents required for the company including identity proof such as Aadhar card, Pan card (pls avoid Minor pan card id), and Driving license. Marksheets of all the semesters, 10th and 12th standard. College ID is a must for all drives. We encourage students to opt for Passport.

e. For any online registration for the drive, students should mention PRN as a student ID number excluding TCS & Superset.

2. Dress code during interviews for placements:

• All students should be present in Formals preferably college uniforms with a tie and for ON Campus/ OFF Campus / Online Video Call Interviews (Students wearing jeans, T-shirts or any other dress other than what is mentioned above will not be allowed to appear for the placement process)

• Students must wear formal shoes during the drives. (Students wearing Chappals, or sandals will not be allowed to appear for the drive on that day.)

• Students are requested not to overwhelm their appearance with too much jewellery.

The role of the training and placement Cell is of a facilitator and counsellor for placement related activities. Placement is a privilege extended to the students but can’t be claimed as a matter of right.

Any issue raised by students/ company panel at Campus Drive, Training and Placement Cell will try to resolve the issue but will not be responsible for any circumstances.

• In case of uploading information related to drives and placement offers on social media, students are obligated to inform training and placement Cell.

• In case of referral, the referrer must inform the referee.
